Russia 2012 Wil

For the forty years between 1952 and 1992, the former USSR womens gymnastics team did not suffer a single defeat on the Olympic stage.

During this time they have accumulated a tally of ten team titles.

Since independent, the first team title was the one at Europeans in Paris 2000. A couple of people feel like their gymnastics in the last 10 years was worth more than this only one achievement.

In Paris, Russia won the Junior and Senior teamtile. The first two pics are from the Awards Ceremony of this Competitions.

In Patras, the European Championships  in 2002, Russia won again the team title in the senior and junior cathegory.
