Svetlana Baitova, Svetlana Boguinskaya and Olga Korbut and many more   represented Belarus during the Soviettime.

After the break up, it was Elena Piskoun who medalled for her now independant country and the Yurkina twins with their grace and artistry talent impressed many fans.
