Jacqui is the eldest of three children. She has a sister aged 13 and brother aged 10. Jacqui and her mum moved to Canberra to take up the scholarship at the Australian Institute of Sport, while he dad, brother and sister remain in Adelaide. Jacqui and her mum travel to Adelaide in school holidays to see the family.
Her interest are tapestries, computers and cooking. After school she hopes to study Information Technology or Cooking.
Jacqui commenced her gymnastic career at age three at the YMCA HUB in Adelaide, South Australia. Three years later she graduated to the South Austalian Institute of Sport and trained under the then Head Coach Mark Calton.
In February 1997 Jacqui commenced her scholarship at the AIS in Canberra under coaches Sascha Khamit and Wang Qui Ping. The same year she competed in the Canberra Cup - International Youth Meet.
Jacqui has consistently finished among the top 10 Senior Australian gymnasts at domestic meets in 1999. She has been selected to the Australian Teams to compete at the prestigious Romanian International and Japan Junior International, where she picked up a silver medal on Bars.
In 2000 Jacqui was 5th at Australian Nationals and has competed in Moscow at World Stars Competition (15th AllAround) and in Mexico at Copa Gimnastica also (5th AllAround).
